Justyna Z. (Poland), at respiro since 2011
I came to respiro in August 2010 as a nurse trained in Poland without a German certificate. Supported by an agency and respiro, I obtained the certificate and quickly adapted to the new job. I have always enjoyed working with different patients. However, I readily accepted respiro‘s offer to deal with the diploma acknowledgement procedures regarding nurses and caregivers from Poland. I’ve been engaged in hospital services on an IMC (Intermediate Care Unit) for a while and have spent the rest of my time in the office taking care of our Polish staff. Finally, to my own amazement, I was appointed Deputy of the Nursing Management department. After more than 6 years at respiro, I moved back to Poland because I wanted to be close to my family and married my Polish boyfriend. Occasionally, I come to Stuttgart to do some work for respiro and earn extra money for myself. Every time I come there I’m always happy to see my colleagues again.
